You will have a horse riding that will help you to enjoy pristine nature of mountainous Kyrgyzstan and to visit numerous lakes with pure and sparkling water. During this trip you can learn much about nomad traditions and customs and have an unforgettable experience of nomad's style of life.
Day 1: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley
As soon as you are landed at Manas International airport you are met by your guide and transported to Bishkek city, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. This ride will take only 30 minutes after which you will have a wonderful breakfast. The entire day is dedicated to a guided Bishkek City Tour, including lunch. The tour includes the visiting of the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square to remember the deceased in the Great Patriotic War), the Historical Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. Then you will be transferred to the Chon Kemin valley in the Kalmak-Ashuu Guesthouse, where you also will spend the night. On the way, we will visit the Burana Tower (minaret of the 11 century) and its attached open air museum of Balbans (stone warriors dated back with 7th century). Dinner will be served at 7 pm.
Day 2: Chon Kemin valley - Tamga
A delicious breakfast is served at 8 ‘clock in the morning. Afterwards, you will start your trip to Tamga (380 km,) by car. It will take us 6 hours. We will drive along the southern shore of the celestial Issyk-Kul Lake, the second largest and deepest lake in the world the coastline of which stretches for the length of 180 km. The Lake is also known as "the pearl of Central Asia". Dinner will be served in the Tamga Guesthouse, where you will also spend the night.
Day 3: Tamga - Chong Kyzyl Suu
After a strengthening breakfast we will start our way to impressive Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley by car that is 70 km. Then you will start your horseback riding along the Terskey mountain range (5h). On the way, you will see red mountains in different shapes, just before we will visit the mineral sources of hot springs at Jeli Suu ( Dungan Village), where you will have the possibility to take a bath in hot springs. Afterwards, a horseback riding tour to the Physical and Geographical station of Chong Kyzyl Suu is waiting for you (1 hour). Your dinner and overnight stay will be in yurts. A yurta is one of the most amazing charms of nomads as it is prepared with the help of only wood and felt and no nail is used. There is no any analogue of such a portable and collapsible nomadic dwelling and that is why it is still used nowadays.
Day 4: Chong Kyzyl Suu - pass Karatakia - gorge Kitchi Kyzyl Suu
Right after breakfast you will have a horseback riding to the gorgeous Karatakia gorge and then over the Karatakia pass. After enjoying the view of the pass you will take a wonderful lunch. Afterwards you will have horseback riding down to the Kitshi Kyzyl Suu valley (6h). This is a place where you can get a taste of Kyrgyz national drink named kumis and is prepared of mare's milk. Dinner and overnight stay is prepared in tents.
Day 5: Kitchi Kyzyl Suu - gorge Jukutchak
After breakfast you will begin horse riding to Kashka-Tor pass (3937m above sea level). Afterwards you will ride a horse through the astonishing red canyon. On the way you will come across the red cave that is called "500 rams" and there is also a mountain waterfall. You will have your lunch at the bottom of the waterfall. The waterfall is located not far from hot springs (40 degrees Celsius) that are also possible to visit if you wish. After having a rest we continue our way to Jukutchak valley. Dinner and overnight stay is prepared in tents
Day 6: Gorge Jukutshak - gorge Ashu-Kashka Suu
A delicious breakfast is served at 8 ‘clock in the morning. Afterwards there is an ascent on horses to the pass Ashu-Tor (3636m above sea level), on the way you will see a mountain waterfall and also you can take a bath in the sauna with thiocyanogen water. After having lunch you will keep on your horse riding down in the gorge of Ashu-Kashka Suu (6h). Dinner and overnight stay is prepared in tents
Day 7: Ashu-Kashka Suu Gorge - Kashka-Suu Lake
A delicious breakfast is served at 8 ‘clock in the morning. As soon as you finish with your backpacks you will have an ascent on horses to the pass Kashka-Suu (3891m.), where you will take lunch. Then you will ride your horse to the Kashka-Suu Lake which will take us 6 hours. This lake takes its sources in a glacier that is why the water is so clean and sparkling. This high mountain lake situated at an altitude of 3800 meters above sea level. Dinner and overnight stay is prepared in tents
Day 8: Lake Kashka-Suu - river Kumtor (3012m)
After a wonderful breakfast you will start horse riding to Kumtor river (6h). You will ride among Ak Shirak Mountains, which have snow even in summer. The constant changeability of weather will surprise you as summer turns into winter within 20 minutes! Kumtor River is the most famous place for gold diggers. Even today people manage to find gold there. Dinner and overnight stay is prepared in tents in tents close to the Central Tien Shan observatory.
Day 9: Kumtor - Arabel Suu
A delicious breakfast is served at 8 ‘clock in the morning. Afterwards you will ride your horse along Arabel Suu River (5h). Having taken a traditional lunch, we will continue to the valley of mountain lakes. Dinner and night near the Arabel Suu River in tents. There is the valley of eight lakes. They are located nearby to each other and you can see all of them at the same time. Those impressions cannot be forgotten.
Day 10: Arabel Suu - Chokoli Lakes (3006m)
A delicious breakfast is served at 8 ‘clock in the morning. Then there follows a continuation of horseback riding to the Chokoli Lakes. Ibexes and Marco Polo sheep might be seen here with a bit of luck. Also you will visit a glacier not far from the mountain lake. Dinner and overnight stay is prepared in tents in tents close to the lake.
Day 11: Chokoli Lakes - Bishkek (by car)
Breakfast is served right after you are done with your backpacks. Then you will be transferred to Bishkek city by car. You will arrive in Bishkek in a Hotel*** at around 5 pm, where you will be given time for yourself until your pick up at 7 pm. Then you will have a farewell dinner in a restaurant.
Day 12: Flight home
You leave your hotel at time previously arranged according to your flight details and transferred to Manas airport. Have a safe trip!
